Fulvio! I've read the Section "Explore the Book". I want to read the whole thing ASAP!!! Do you have the whole thing translated into English yet?! I like the characters, and the plot is intriguing. I also like remarks such as "her curiosity, still lively, was not helped by her hearing, worn out by the years" hehe
Thank you, Jesus! The English version is on its way... I have a great translator (Olivia) who is doing a marvelous job. As I mentioned in the news section, the whole thing is going to be ready by mid-October. In the meantime, I'm writing the second book, and I'm looking for an American agent. Hopefully, we will not have to wait too long before seing it published!

I have been approached already by some Italian publishers for the Italian version, and I'll work with them on the details of their proposal after summertime... But this is not what you want to know, right? If you know of any specialized American agent/publisher, please let me know... :)
I don't know - having some young girls who aren't airheads might be a mind-numbing experience for American youth culture! Maybe you'll need to throw in a lot of "like, man . . " and "you know . . ." and other typical forms of inability to articulate thoughts and feelings well. But, then, who knows? Maybe you'll start a trend toward taking young people seriously, by showing that they want to be serious . .
Well, this is not just about girls, is it? But I have to say, I know some smart and cool teens both in Italy and in the States. And, usually, even those who are not that smart and cool, like to be taken seriously. (At least, I hope they do!) We’ll see! There IS an airhead blonde in The Black Eagle, though. Her name is Samanta, and she makes the entrance in chapter 3… (not available in the website…)

After reading the synopsis I am excited to read the whole book in English! I love a good novel with intrigue, excitement, and interesting characters. I will have to prepare a whole weekend to read the book and nothing else to do :)
